Brooklyn punks Spewing Cum just put out a new music video for their song “Too Many Cops,” a track off their new E.P FxSxV Volume 2 (available December 4th). The Brooklyn based punk band has been building up their reputation of loud, fast, and real, gaining popularity in the local scene and beyond.
Continuing to set the bar high, they use simple lyrics that get to the point paired with gut wrenching riffs. The video is a perfect pairing. Directed and shot by Seth Applebaum (who you can see performing at our Bernie Sanders benefit show 12/10 with The Mad Doctors), shots of the band shredding in an apartment building combined with police surveillance tapes (all shot in black in white) give the video a classic, grungy feel. The video begins to capture the incredible and dynamic experience of seeing this band live, an experience which director Seth seems extremely familiar with.
