Ontario native Thomas Little is making some big sounds with his recently rebranded solo project Dazy Crown. The project’s first tune ‘Perfect Dream’ was self-released last week, and you can stream it right here! Fancy that.
The song’s beach-y three chord progression gives shades of bands like Wavves or Porches but it’s Little’s artfully autotuned lead vocal that propels Dazy Crown into its own niche. The apparent stoner rock atmosphere is diminished further with provocative lyrics such as “disregard your gender, class and race” and “liberties are just for those with gold.” All in all, a pretty little number.
