On 12/10/15, No Smoking, in collaboration with Bushwick Berners, The Gateway, and Ipsum hosted a Bernie Sanders punk rock benefit concert, and we raised $1764 for Senator Sanders’ campaign (!!). A huge thank you to all the volunteers, the bands, and everyone who came out in support of such a crucially important cause! Mad props to Jon Fuhrer and Nelson Antonio Espinal for making this evening possible. It’s been so amazing to see all the support for Bernie Sanders’ campaign and what we accomplished together, using punk and indie rock music to change our paradigm.
